Complying with employment legislation is having an adverse effect on many firms, a report from the British Chambers of Commerce has argued. The study suggested that too many regulations are weighted against employers. With the Budget due on Wednesday 24 March, the Chancellor will be balancing the competing needs to keep the economic recovery on track while reducing the UK’s deficit.
