Rowan Sumner, Managing Partner. Rowan has been involved with SB&P since 2003, having previously been with Grant Thornton, and for 24 years at Andrew Moors Thomas, latterly as Partner. Rowan is widely known throughout the North West and has wide ranging experience as a solid business adviser, with specific specialism with big-ticket divorce cases, the property sector, partnership and shareholder disputes and acting as non-executive board member. Roger Anderton Roger qualified with SB&P in 1983, and then gained good experience in industry and with a number of medium sized practices including Touche Ross. Returning to SB&P in 1991 Roger became a partner in1993 and manages a wide range of audit clients. Roger is the Honorary Secretary of the Liverpool Agricultural Discussion Society. Alan Bruford Alan began at SB&P 1971 and after qualifying he joined another local firm becoming Partner, and growing that practice quite successfully. In 1996 he decided to come back home to SB&P and is a key Audit and Accounting partner and advisor. Throughout the past 33 years he has acquired substantial experience in advising SME’s on all aspects of their business and advises a wide range of clients from zoos to construction companies on all aspects of audit, accounts and taxation. Esther Speksnijder Esther qualified with SB&P in 1997, having trained with the North West office of Kidsons Impey. She is an Audit and general practice Partner with 15 years experience of advising a wide range of large and small owner managed business, over such business sectors as retail, professional partnerships and Law Society reporting. Wendy McNulty, Forensics Partner. Having qualified with PKF, Wendy spent valuable time at Clough & Co, and DTE, gaining wide experience of forensic accounting, personal injury matters and commercial disputes across a wide ranging sector. Murray McLean BA,CTA, Tax Partner. Murray is a qualified Chartered Tax Advisor who joined SB&P in 2004 bringing with him over 17 years experience in advising clients on a wide range of tax matters. Murray advises on all aspects of the tax affairs of owner-managed businesses, shareholder exit planning, remuneration planning together with tax planning for professional partnerships & HNWI's with regard to Inheritance Tax & Capital Gains Tax.
